Otis Allen Smith, 69, of Mexia, passed away on April 8, 2011 at the Mexia LTC in Mexia. A memorial service was held for family and friends on Saturday, April 16, 2011.
Mr. Allen was born on October 10, 1941 in Lost Prairie, Texas to Otis and Edna Matthews Smith. He was a farmer there in the Lost Prairie community for many years.
Otis was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Thelma Hinchliffe and a brother, Carl Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Smith of Mexia; children, Allan Smith of Beville, Texas and Jeff Smith, Paul Smith and Scott Smith of Louisiana; step sons, Thomas Raue & Michael Raue of Mexia; step daughter, LaQuita Ayres of Clifton; seven grandchildren and a sister, Patsy Larue & husband, Ronnie, of Ana, Texas.
