father is listed as Euel Smith. I think this is incorrect information and the father was Gaines C. Smith. Gaines C. Smith had a son named Ewell and a grandson named Ewell. The mother's last name is Wickhem (Wickham), and I think she was Louisa Wickham, second wife of Gaines C. Smith.
