Services for Ina Bess Owen, 90, Brownsboro, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home, Chandler, with the Rev. Pete Chapman officiating.
Burial was in Leagueville Cemetery.
Mrs. Owen died Aug. 29 in a Tyler nursing home.
She was born Aug. 4, 1914, in Leagueville to Sel and Ella Smith. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Brownsboro, and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Owen; son, Harold Owen; brother, Bruce Smith; and sister, Willie Mae Gideon.
Survivors include sons, Nolan Owen, Leagueville, Elgie Owen, Chandler, Harvey Owen, Athens, and Conley Owen, Brownsboro; daughters, Wanda Dingler, Brownsboro, Gwen Moffeit, Leagueville; brothers, Selman Smith, California, Mason Smith, Rosenberg, and Wayne Smith, Leagueville; sister, Dot Skrobanek, Humble; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Terry Dingler, Tommy Dingler, Roddie Owen, Lance Owen, Leon Miller and C.L. Gideon.
