Daughter of Phelps & Sarah J. Smith. On the night of September 12, 1900, the Death Angel visited the home of Mr. & Mrs. Phelps Smith, and took away little Ina Bland, the pride and joy of that happy home.
She was six years, one month and twenty-five days old, and though only a child, yet by her winning ways and pleasant smiles she won the hearts of those who were so fortunate as to have known her. In the school room she seemed so willing to perform each duty assigned her. Her bright face will be missed in the coming school, but she is now a pupil of the Heavenly Father, waiting to welcome her loved ones and schoolmates in that brighter world.
Her teacher and friend,
