Mrs. J. W. Fleeman
Mrs. J. W. (Josephine) Fleeman, 87, of DaCosta; died at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in a local hospital after a short illness. A Victoria County resident for 61 years, Mrs. Fleeman was born on Feb. 16, 1876, in Giles County, Tennessee, to the late William and Elizabeth Bronlow Hardy. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Duckett Funeral Home Chapel with Brother E. T. McKelvain of Bloomington Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Crescent Valley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Willie B. Stowe, Charlie Garrett, H. P. Eilers, Billy Fleeman, George Williams and Allen Sellers. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Corina Fleeman of DaCosta and Mrs. Erma Jackson of Kingsville; two sons, Loyd Fleeman of DaCosta and Davie Fleeman of Ganado; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Smith of Placedo; two brothers, Les Hardy of Placedo and Tull Hardy of Pulaski, Tenn.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
