East Texan Dies in Truck Crash
Athens, Texas (AP) - Elmer Hopson, 62, died when his pickup truck left the road, struck a fence and overturned. Hopson was thrown from the vehicle.
The accident occurred on FM 607 about 11 1/2 miles east of Athens. He resided on Route One, Chandler.
