Negro Kills Constable
Athens, Texas, Dec. 11. - Constable James W. Hopson was shot and killed and Sheriff W.D. Williams was injured yesterday by a negro who resisted arrest. The negro was wanted on a burglary charge. After the shooting he escaped. Nearby sections are being searched by posses.
