Negro Who Killed Officer at Athens Still at Large

Athens, Texas. Dec. 11. - George Davis the negro who killed Constable Hopson and wounded Sheriff Williams here yesterday, is still at large.
More than a hundred armed men organized in squads of eight early this morning, but were unable to find any trace of him.
