*note - My Grandad, Wayne Smith, can remember his mother, Ella Mae Hopson Smith, talking about Frank Hopson. She would say, "I wish Frank would come." My Grandad believes that Frank was some sort of washing machine repair man. The 1930 census backs this claim up by Frank's appearance in the home of Sel and Ella Smith, and the 1940 gives credence because Frank is listed as a general repair man. Other than that, I can find no record of his marriage or daughter listed in the 1920 and 1940 census records.
