Billy Joe Wilson obituary

Billy Joe (Bill) Wilson, 75, passed away Monday, August 29, 2011, at home surrounded by his loving wife and family. 
Born April 11, 1936, in Corsicana, Texas, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mattie Wilson. 
He and his wife of over 54 years, Elsie, were married April 11, 1957 and lived in Houston where Bill was a successful State Farm Insurance Agent for 44 years. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1954-1955. He also served on the Aldine ISD school board for 11 years, and in 1992 Bill J. Wilson Intermediate School was named in his honor. 
Bill loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer, and he enjoyed collecting antiques.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Billy Wilson and wife Yolanda, Judy Tobias and husband Mike, and Nancy Wilson; four grandchildren, Ashley Duhon and husband Austin, Lindsay Underwood and husband Neal, Michael Tobias, and Jenna Davis; one great-grandchild, James Rudder Duhon, sister Peggy Smith, and numerous other family members and friends. 
Visitation will be 6-8pm on Friday, September 2, 2011 and funeral services at 11am on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Drive, Spring, Texas 77379. Intombment will follow at Klein Memorial Park-Mausoleum, F.M. 2920, Tomball, Texas 77375.

On Her Birthday a birthday dinner was given Sunday, Oct. 31, In the home of Mrs. S. E. Burton of Phillips Chapel, honoring her 62nd birthday. The following gathered in the home to share this occasion with her: Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Burton and family of Phillips Chapel, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Burton and family of Tyler, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Burton and family of Phillips Chapel, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Burton of Corsicana, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Burton and Ray Burton of Phillips Chapel, Mr. and Mrs. Cass. Bonner and son, Chester, of Angus, Mrs. Nettie Mosley of Corsicana, Mr. and Mrs. Miles Castle of Eureka, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Boyte and family of Corsicana, Mr. and Mrs. Author Wilson and family of Corsicana, Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Pruitt and family of Mount Calm, Mr. and Mrs. D. F. Brown and daughter, Cleo, of Mildred, Mrs. Lewis Gilstrap and son, of Tyler, Mrs. Lewis Garcia and family of Pickett, Mrs. Susie Pollock of Chicago, Il., J. T. Henson and daughter, Marjorla, of Tyler; O. D. Bailey of Angus and the honoree. Totaling 62. Each came bringing well filled baskets of lots of good things to eat, which was served picnic. Music was enjoyed In the afternoon, furnished by Cass Bonner and son, Chester, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Burton, Ray Burton, and O. D. Bailey. Late In the day all returned to their homes wishing for Mrs. Burton "Many More Happy Birthdays and joy with out an end."

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lee Massey, 45B Northwest Apartments, announce the birth of a daughter, Sharon Michelle, born Feb. 22 at Memorial Hospital. She weighed six pounds and fifteen ounces. Welcoming her is a four-year- old sister Wanda Dianne. The maternal grandmother is Mrs. Wanda Goggans of Corsicana, and the paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Montgomery of Kilgore. Great- grandparents include Mr. and Mrs. T.L. Coker of Corsicana, Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Massey of Emhouse, Mrs. Mae Boyte of Irving, and Mrs. Amanda Wilson of Kilgore.

Mattie Pearl Mosley Wilson obituary

Tuesday Rites For Mrs. Wilson 

Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Wilson, 51, of Waco, who died Monday morning at her home, were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Connally Funeral Chapel. Rev. J. A. Haley, Baptist minister, conducted the rites. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery here. Surviving are her husband, A. B. Wilson, Waco; two sons, Arthur Eugene Wilson, Waco, and Billy Wilson, Texas City; three daughters, Mrs. Naomi Blann and Miss Peggy Wilson, both of Waco, and Miss Margie Faye Wilson, Houston; mother, Mrs. Nettie Mosley, Corsicana; two brothers, Robert Mosley and Otis Mosley, both of Corsicana; six sisters, Mrs. Mae Boyte, Mrs, Nobie Perry, Mrs. Annie Coker, all of Corsicana; Mrs. Merle Stinson, Corsicana, Tex., Mrs. Obie Perry and Mrs. Earl Smith, all of Dallas, and nine grandchildren. Griffin Funeral Home is directing local arrangements.
