 Funeral services for Gwendolyn Lake, 91, of Reese, are scheduled for Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Autry Funeral Home Chapel, Jacksonville, with Rev. Larry Smith presiding. Burial will be in Reese Cemetery under the direction of Autry Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lake died February 19, 2008 in Reese. She was born July 24, 1916 in Reese to Abe and Cora Lee Larson and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Jacksonville chapter Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by Son, John Abe Lake, granddaughter, Alicia English, three brother and two sisters.

Survivors are sons and daughter-in-law; Lewie Lake and wife Nelda of Jacksonville, Larry Lake of Jacksonville, grandchildren; Johnny Lake, Debbie & Mike Leinback, Kelly & Matt Montgomery, Terri Crews, Marc Lake, Breezy Lake and Alexa Lake, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Joey Coker, Marc Lake, Peter Crews, Jason Powell, Brandon Powell and Jordan Powell.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Coker, Gerald Gray, Robert Lee, Bill Willis, Ronny McDaniel and Johnny Reagan


Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, February 20, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Memorials may be made to Reese Cemetery Association.
