Formerly Mosley-Andrews have family reunion here
Family members and descendants of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mosley and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Andrews Sr. of Eureka held a reunion Sunday, Sept. 4 at Jester Park in Corsicana. Approximately 150 attended. Among those present were the four living sisters of Mr. Mosley: Mrs. Annie Coker, Corsicana, Mrs. Mae Boyd, Irving, and Mrs. Nobie Perry and Mrs. Myrle Stinson of Lancaster. Others attending included: Doyle and Jesse Andrews, Mrs. Martha Andrews, Ronald and Anita Andrews, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Coker, Jade Andrews, Larry Andrews, C. Connell, Lawrence Boyd, Bill Turner, Mae Boyte, Rodger Coker, Ernie and Deanne Massey, Jay Sanders, Clyde and Darlene Andrews and son, Dwain, of Corsicana; Buck and Mamie Frame of Eureka; John and Beth Frame and two sons of Mesquite; Donald and Sharon Stinson of Laancaster. Also, Mrs. Cathrine Neely and sons, Stephen and Bobby.

Zula Mae Brantley Sanders
Mrs Zula Brantley Sanders
On Sunday evening,April 23,1922,after an illness of only a few days the soul of Mrs Zula Sanders,wife of Elder Walter J.Sanders of Williston,left its earthly tabernacle to answer the summons of Him who said,"well done thy good and faithful servant, enter thou into the joys of thy Lord"She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Brantley of Madden.She together with her dear husband,professed faith in Christ and joined the Primitive Baptist church at New Bethel at a very tender age.She was a devoted member until death and one that will be sadly missed,for her beautiful,consistant,christian life was an insperation to all who knew her.She was indeed a star that shone for many.She was patient and loving even in her dark hours.Her companion being away much of his time attending his churches,she was never known to compalain at her lot, but always encourged him to press on.On Saturady morning before she died,she said if it pleased the Lord to call her awaw she was ready to go.She called her children to her bed and told them if she had to leave them to be good, obediant children and go to school and church all they could.She arranged everthing as she desired it.It was a pitiful sight to behold, to see her dear little children around her bed,ages from eleven years to 2 1/2 months.Every one was in tears as she talked but she said for them not to grieve, that there were no tears for her to shed.She was pleasant all the hours she suffered, but bore it so patiently and when she finished talking she said: "Now I must rest,If I should pass away while I sleep,then farewell to all",and folded her hands.All was done that kind hands could do,but earth life being o'er she had to cross over the waters of the last river, and it's so consoling to those who are bereaved to know she was ready to go.She was nearing her 31st year and it seems that her entire life was noble as she possesed such a sweet disposition, an obediant daughter a loving sister and devoted wife and mother.Let me say,dear beareved ones,I would go to God that I might speak some words of comfort to each of you.My heart goes out in tenderest symphathy to you,but it's more than any of us can do to lift the burden entirely.I realize man is too weak, but I admonish you to look to God.He giveth and he taketh away,but blessed promise "I'll never forsake thee in time of trouble" Dear Sister Zula is sweetly sleeping in the arms of Jesus and lets's live that we may die as she die's.A sorrowful crowd gathered at the church yard Monday and after prayer and song carried out as she requested, her body was lowered into its last resting place.Her grave was covered with flowers prepared by those that loved her.
May God bless you dear ones and reconcile you to his dealings is my prayer.Written by one who loved her
